Greetings!
Emergence Productions, proud Performing Arts Manager for Stage 49 & Arena Performances, on behalf of Gathering of Nations, announce the 2nd Call for Native Band and Performers for GON Stage 49. The initial Call for Artists posted on the Gathering of Nations newsletter November 2010.

GATHERING OF NATIONS
Annually, more than 3000 Native American singers and dancers will converge on the University of New Mexico’s “The Pit” Arena in Albuquerque New Mexico in April. This Pow wow, is a festive atmosphere featuring both traditional & competition singing & dancing along with the crowning of Miss Indian World. The Indian traders' Market in the big tent, Native American food court on Pow Wow Alley and "STAGE 49" are mainstays of this great event. Stage 49 is intended to provide a musical and performance alternative to the Pow wow, where Native musicians, storytellers, and other performers will have the opportunity to showcase their talents before a major audience.

VERY IMPORTANT SUBMISSION NOTE: Stage 49 is a billed as a “courtesy stage opportunity” for performing artists who are already independently planning to attend the Gathering of Nations Pow wow. Performing Artists are responsible for their own transportation; accommodations and performance fees are not available

Family oriented performances only. Any vulgarity, profanity and/or inappropriate comments and behavior will result in immediate performance interruption/cancellation – no exceptions
