Composing Music for the Medium of Film

Composer, conductor and director Roy Rogosin leads us into the unique world of composing music for films. Highly structured with a technical language all its own, film music is unlike any other musical form in its coordination of music and image. Roy will use musical and visual excerpts that strike a chord in all of us. Come prepared to be entertained!

Roy Rogosin has almost fifty years of experience as a composer, conductor and director in New York, Hollywood and Europe. He is currently Artist in Residence at St. John’s College and Director of Choirs at The New Mexico School for the Arts.
