2015 Governor’s Awards for Excellence in the Arts

2015 marks the 42nd annual celebration of the Governor’s Award for Excellence in the Arts, which was established in 1974 to honor the contributions of artists and their work to New Mexico. A diverse and noteworthy list of painters, weavers, sculptors, dancers, musicians, storytellers, poets, actors, playwrights, and potters have been honored by the Governor’s Awards for Excellence in the Arts.
Join us to celebrate this year’s recipients of the Governor’s Awards for Excellence in the Arts. Friday at 5:15 in the Museum of Art’s beautiful St Francis Auditorium. Come early for a good seat.
